Turning Foreigners into Friends
When a foreigner lives with you in your land, don’t take advantage of him. Treat the foreigner the same as a native. Love him like one of your own.
Leviticus 19:33-34
Over 700 international students from over 40 countries will study at Old Dominion University this year.
CrossRoads partners with Global Friendship Ventures, a ministry to International Students, to host Friday International Supper & Hospitality (F.I.S.H.). This is a weekly gathering where members of the international student community share a meal and participate in social activities with American volunteers.
Through these interactions, we have the chance to engage students from different cultures in purposeful conversations about our respective cultures and beliefs.
