The CrossRoads Internship Program is open to anyone who is exploring ministry experience or a potential ministry calling. As an intern, the majority of your time will be spent working with a mentor in your assigned department. Working in a team environment, you'll complete departmental assignments and projects that help you gain valuable ministry experience.
SUMMER INTERNSHIP 2025
Overview
The CrossRoads Internship is designed to be an exciting, intense, and unique ministry experience. When most people think about an internship, they have visions of busy work – fetching coffee, picking up dry cleaning, and making copies. The internship is not designed for you to just do busy work; it is designed to invest in you as you invest in the lives of others.

May 12, 2024 to August 8, 2025
Expectations:
20 hrs weekly
Compensation:
$200 Weekly
Special Projects + Events with the the Church
Expectations
- Walk consistently with the Lord and demonstrate faith and obedience in your personal life and ministry
- Demonstrate consistency of character between your walk with God, how you deal with people and how you fulfill your responsibilities
- Commit to and complete internship roles and responsibilities to your best ability
- Actively engage in an effective personal ministry to the congregation through the internship
- Look for opportunities to share Christ and encourage believers to mature in Christ
- Actively attend church services and functions

Children’s Ministry
- Minister to children (birth to 5th grade) and their families
- Learn to prepare and develop curriculum for children’s ministry
- Learn the ins and outs of discipling the next generation
- Gain experience organizing community and family outreach events
Youth Ministry
- Learn the ins and outs of organizing and running youth discipleship and events
- Plan and run Bible studies with youth (6th to 12th grade)
- Gain experience planning youth outreach events
Local Outreach
- Support Pop-up church events for the homeless community
- Help with providing meals and clothing for the homeless in the city
- Support outreach events for inner-city schools
- Be involved in events for International Students
Creative and Communications
- Gain experience in filming and editing videos, graphic design and copywriting
- Enhance the church's social media and online presence
- Work with the Creative team to conceptualize and birth ideas, video projects and marketing
Worship Ministry
- Learn the behind-the-scenes work of leading a worship ministry
- Gain experience in service design
- Learn the philosophy behind song choices, music arrangements, service flow
Production Ministry
- Get hands-on experience on video, lighting and audio
- Gain experience in optimizing live streaming of services
- Understand how to see a service through from conceptualization to execution
Facilities Management
- Gain experience with building operations and maintenance
- Learn to setup and teardown for church services and events
- Provide hands-on support for special events and projects
