Tim Sceviour

ELDER

Originally from Long Island, New York, Tim Sceviour and his wife, JoAnn, moved to the Tidewater area in 1984 with the Navy and have called it home ever since. They began attending CrossRoads in 2010, joining their daughter, future son-in-law, and eventually the rest of their growing family. Today, they're blessed with three children, seven grandchildren, and plenty of opportunities to enjoy life together.

Tim has worn many hats at CrossRoads over the years, including elder board chair, missions committee member, Life Group leader, mission team leader to Mexico and Africa, and overnight shelter manager for NEST. He also helps the church navigate legal matters when needed. His heart has always been to help people grow in their faith and care well for others.

Outside of church, you'll find Tim teaching spin classes and boot camps, relaxing at the beach with his grandchildren, or enjoying a good concert.

Two passages guide Tim each day: Proverbs 3:5--6, which keeps him grounded in trusting the Lord, and Titus 2:13, which reminds him to live with hope as he looks forward to Christ's return.

If you ever need encouragement, prayer, or simply someone to listen, Tim would love to connect with you.
