Shawn Melton
ELDER
Shawn Melton has been part of the CrossRoads family since his senior year of college, when he and his wife, Tori, visited one Sunday and immediately felt at home.
A Hampton Roads native, Shawn serves as an elder and has poured into Children’s Ministry for 18 years, teaching kids of all ages. He also serves on the prayer team and NEST.
What Shawn loves most about CrossRoads is its Gospel-centered heart–everything pointing back to Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection.
Inspired by Galatians 2:20, Shawn lives out the truth that since Jesus gave His life for him, he’s free to entrust his life fully to Christ.
When he’s not serving, you’ll find him playing pickleball, writing, or staying active with his three kids.
