Temptation rarely arrives like a comic-book villain; it comes through quiet compromises, misplaced loves, and slow erosion beneath the surface of our lives. Jesus teaches us to pray, “Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one,” because temptation is real, subtle, and stronger than we often admit.
