Lou Page
ELDER
A Norfolk native, Lou Page is grateful to be serving in the city he’s always called home. After retiring Lou and his wife, Charlene, began attending CrossRoads, where their son and grandchildren were already part of the church family. It didn’t take long for CrossRoads to feel like home.
As an elder, Lou enjoys helping the church thrive in a variety of behind-the-scenes ways. Whether he’s maintaining the website, working on finances, solving IT problems, designing graphics, or finding ways to make ministry run more smoothly, he loves using his gifts to support the mission of the church.
When he’s not serving at CrossRoads, you’ll probably find Lou building software solutions for fun. He also enjoys reading, especially books that encourage spiritual growth, and often recommends The Spirit of the Disciplines by Dallas Willard.
One passage that has shaped this season of Lou’s life is Psalm 92:12–15, which speaks of continuing to flourish and bear fruit in old age. His prayer is to keep growing, keep serving, and keep pointing people to the faithfulness of God.
If you ever have a question about technology—or want to talk theology, books, or coding—Lou is always happy to chat.
