Week 6 - Free Indeed

John 8:31-59; 9:1-41
Week 6 is about seeing clearly. Jesus talks about freedom, identity, and truth, and then makes one of His boldest claims: “Before Abraham was, I AM.” Some who are certain they can see the truth refuse to recognize Him. Then Jesus meets a man who has never been able to see at all, and gives him sight.
As the story unfolds, the man who was blind begins to see more and more clearly who Jesus is, while the religious leaders become increasingly blind to what is right in front of them. By the end, the question is no longer simply who can see with their eyes, but who can truly see Jesus.
Take the readings a day at a time, Sunday through Friday, and sit with the questions. Pay attention to what Jesus reveals about freedom, truth, and spiritual sight... and ask where you may need Him to help you see more clearly.
